Canada PNP
Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs) are an important part of Canada’s immigration policy, with more than 200,000 people expected to receive permanent residence in Canada through the Provincial Nomination Program between 2020 and 2022.
Provincial nomination programs are the fastest-growing Canadian wheat path. Over the years, the federal government has increased the province’s annual allocation for PNPs, demonstrating the growing importance of these programs within Canada’s overall immigration approval.
Eligibility Criteria for PNPs
Under the Provincial Nomination Program, provinces and territories in Canada can nominate individuals and families who wish to settle in a county or region on a standard set by the province or state.
Each province and region sets its own renowned criteria. For example, one province may prefer to bring provincial nominees with special occupation experience, while another province may prefer to bring in provincial candidates with French language experience. For the provincial nomination, applicants must show that they meet the prescribed criteria. This will show that the applicant has learning, education, and work experience so that he can contribute positively to the local economy and society. The province or region will consider the application based on the needs of the specific province as well as the applicant’s original intent there.

Instructions for PNP Application
Some PNP streams operate on a first-come, first-served basis, while other PNP streams require periodic requests to register expressions of interest first. In addition, some PNP streams operate outside of the Federal Express Entry immigration system – these are known as the “base” streams – while others are with the PNP stream Express Entry.
